Considering a non-surgical approach?

  • 1 You're exploring options for improved lower face support and firmer-looking jawline area without surgery.
  • 2 You've noticed natural changes in your skin's firmness over time and want a measured, professional consultation about your options.
  • 3 You want a registered nurse who treats your face like a clinician would, not a salesperson.

Your consultation is the first step. Beatrice will assess your skin, explain what HIFU can and cannot do, and let you decide what's right for you.

An educational approach.

HIFU is a non-surgical technology that uses focused ultrasound energy. Below is a general guide. Individual experiences vary, and your nurse will discuss what's appropriate for you during your consultation.*

Patient-First Approach

Beatrice will never recommend a treatment that isn't appropriate for you. If HIFU isn't the right fit for your individual circumstances, she will tell you honestly and discuss alternatives. That's the difference when your practitioner is a registered nurse first.

Everything you need to know.

What is HIFU?
HIFU stands for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound. It is a non-surgical technology used in aesthetic medicine. During your consultation, Beatrice will explain how it works, whether it's appropriate for you, and what the realistic expectations are based on your individual circumstances.
What does the consultation involve?
A one-on-one assessment of your skin and goals with an AHPRA-registered nurse. Beatrice will discuss your concerns, explain the technology, review potential risks and benefits, and determine if you are a suitable candidate. There is no pressure to proceed.
Is the treatment painful?
Sensitivity varies between individuals. Many patients describe a warm or tingling sensation during the session. Beatrice will discuss comfort and tolerance with you and adjust the treatment based on your feedback throughout.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is generally minimal. Some individuals may experience mild redness, warmth, or slight swelling for a short period afterwards. Beatrice will discuss aftercare and what to expect during your consultation.
Am I a suitable candidate?
Suitability for HIFU is assessed individually and depends on factors including your skin condition, medical history, and goals. Beatrice will determine your suitability during your consultation. If HIFU is not appropriate for you, she will tell you honestly and discuss alternative options.
